• Review of "Crossroads Christian Academy" at Clinton

  I have been involved with Crossroads in many ways for a number of years; first as a parent, later as part of the CCA Leadership Team (CCA LT-school board), then 3 years as the Principal and Administrator, and now retired but serving as chairman of the CCA LT. I have watched this school grow stronger and more effective in every area. Crossroads has an outstanding group of teachers and that includes every grade from preschool to 8th, as well as "the specials" - Art, Bible, Computer, Library, Music, Phys. Ed., and Spanish. The school has such a joyful and supportive atmosphere, where parents are welcome and invited to be part of the education of their children, and students from preschool to 8th grade are given intentional opportunities to intermingle throughout the year - both the younger and the older children love that and so do their parents. Surveys have shown a very high level of parent satisfaction. Crossroads is focused on helping each child to develop and "own" their faith, to reach their highest individual potential both spiritually and academically, and to succeed in high school, college and life. Many CCA graduates come back to spend a day in the school, which was something I found surprising because I never did that after graduating from grammar school. When they came back for a visit, I always asked, "How are you doing now, and were you prepared?" The consistent answer was that they were doing well, and were well prepared both academically and personally, and would frequently say they were better prepared than their peers from other schools - even for the challenges that life sometimes brings. They feel a strong connection and love for Crossroads and their teachers and fellow students - often well into their adult life. I am also grateful that CCA is always striving to improve, and that has led to the school having a significant impact on the lives of many students and their families. This is truly a family minded school that serves its community well.

• Review of "Cornerstone Tax Services" at Clinton

  Their tagline "When was the last time you said I love my tax preparer?" could not be more true. Lissa and her team at Cornerstone really care about you and they help make tax season not so terrible. They are very affordable and do a fantastic job getting you the biggest return possible. When you are inside their office you would think you are inside a coffee shop. It is warm and inviting. Can't say enough good things!

  Cindy is a very sneaky realtor. She's only out to make money for herself. She actually stole items from my house and refused to give them back. Ethics charges were filed against her for refusing to show our property and she actually told people very private info such as that the property was a "divorce" situation, thus causing harm. She was found "guilty" of violating ethics! You should not trust this realtor. These facts are on record and can be authenticated.

  Would not recommend. Not upfront about charges, doesn't bill regularly, and the cost is too high for the caliber of service. Got burned and learned a lesson, learn to do it yourself!
